1. Who we are

This website is operated by UAB "Lateral repairs" (company code 304403126, VAT LT100010469717), Paberžių g. 5, LT-72328 Tauragė, Lithuania ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at info@lateralrepairs.com or +370 698 76581.

2. What data we process, and why

2.1 Contact enquiries

When you send us an enquiry by email or phone, we process the details you provide — your name, email address and the content of your message — in order to respond to you and prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and, for other enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence). We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up business relationship, after which it is deleted. The contact form on this website is not connected at present, so enquiries currently reach us only by email or phone; this section will be updated before the form is connected.

2.2 Hosting & server logs

This website uses hosting services provided by UAB "Interneto vizija" (Serveriai.lt), a company registered in Lithuania. This identifies the service provider, not the verified physical location of the particular hosting server. The provider processes technical information required to deliver and protect the site, which may include IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser information and error logs. Our legal basis for operating and protecting the site is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs are retained according to the hosting service's operational and security retention practices and only for as long as needed for those purposes. We have not confirmed a specific maximum retention period or the physical location of the server; you can request up-to-date details at info@lateralrepairs.com.

2.3 Embedded videos (YouTube)

Our company video is embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and loads only after you actively choose to play it and consent to third-party content. Until then, no connection to Google is made. If you play the video, Google (YouTube) processes your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

2.4 What we do not do

The newly designed static pages do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers or marketing cookies; their fonts, scripts and images are served from our own domain. Some older CMS pages remain accessible on lateralrepairs.com and may use session and analytics cookies, as described in our previous Privacy & Cookie Policy. The legacy information reflects the previous website's disclosures and may not describe every current technical configuration.

3. Cookies and local storage

Details of storage used by the new frontend and cookies that may be used by legacy CMS pages are set out in our Cookie Policy.

4. Data security

Connections to the website are protected using HTTPS/TLS. We use technical security protections and minimise third-party services on the new static pages. Access to enquiry correspondence is intended to be limited to people who need it to respond.

5. Recipients

In connection with the new static pages, personal data may be processed by our hosting provider, UAB "Interneto vizija" (Serveriai.lt); our email provider when you correspond with us; and Google (YouTube) if you consent to video playback. Separate legacy CMS functions may involve other service providers, as described in the previous policy. We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and — where processing is based on consent — to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, contact info@lateralrepairs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Lithuania this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or legal requirements change. The current version, with its date, is always available on this page.
